On Considering that his Excy has been Very Serviceable to
this Country and has Disbursed Great Sumes Of mony for

the Interest thereof The following Message is Prepared Viz.

By the uper House of Assembly
June 6th 1719

Gentl. Tis very well known how kind and Serviceable his
Excy the Govr has Been to this Province dureing his Admrcon
here not only in the Supporting the Authority of his Lordship
but in Consulting the true Interest of Maryland wherefore we
Offer it to your Consideration whether It be not Reasonable
(this being probably the Last Session of Assembly that we
shall have the Happiness to meet him in) to make him some
Greatfull Acknowledgment for all his favours.

Wee your Majestys Dutifull and Loyall Subjects in this
Remote pvince in all Humility Begg leave to Address your
Sacred Person to Congratulate you on your many happy
Discoverys of the Designs of your Enemies & the Continuance
of your precious Life to this happy Conjuncture On which we
with Joy Solemnize the Anniversary of your Birth.
May the King of Kings Assist and Enable you to Disappoint
all the Projects of yor Enemies & to Establish a Protestant
Constitution in Church & State in all Your Dominions May
