Gentl. On reading your message by Mr John Beale & Mr
Dare with a Bill for the Application of such Intestates Estates
as have no Legall Representatives we Propose the following
Amendments to that Bill Viz. Instead of (after Brothers &
Sisters Children) the Words (or Others than those Directed
by an Act of Assembly of this Province Entituled an Act for
the Better Admrcon of Justice in Testamentary Affairs &c)
with which this Bill will Pass

Sent with the Bill by Esqr Hall Who returns & says he
Delivered it.
Col James Philips & Mr Wra Turbutt with an Engrost Bill
for Disabling Thomas Macnemara Esqr to Practice the Law
in this Province
Assented to by That House.
And Being read is Assented to by this House And Col Ward
sent to acqt the Lower House thereof

The Allegations of John Beale and John Diggs in Rela-
tion to a Bill for the Relief of the said John Beale being read &
maturely Considered by this House, The Question is put
whether that bill shall pass or not
Resolved by the Majority of Votes that the Bill pass without
the Last Clause Enabling Beale to sue for the Cost & Damages.
Thereupon the following Message is Agreed upon to be
sent to the Lower House Viz.

Gentl
The Bill for Reliefe of John Beale of Charles County being
read the first & second Times will pass leaving out the Clause
Enabling him to Prosecute for his Costs & Damages
