relating to Jurrors Suffly Evince the Efficacy of the Provision
Already made for the Return of Jurrors for that Altho the
Law Directs that the Sherriffs shall be fined one Thousand
pounds of Tobo for their Defaults therein yet the Provinciall
Justices in the Instances Given found one half that sum a
Sufficient penalty & fined those Sherriffs no more tho It Ought
to have been by Law One Thousand pounds of Tobo And
therefore pray that Since the Paper Bill has passed your
House the Engrost bill may be now Assented to as Proposed
Especially since the use of it in some Particulars seems to be
Allowed of by your House

Young Sent to Acquaint the Lower House thereof
On A second Reading the Bill for the Application of such
Intestates Estates as leave no Legall Representatives &c the
following Message is Prepared.

June 2d 1719
Gentl. On reading & Considering the Bill for the Applica-
tion of such Intestates Estates as leave no Legal Representa-
tives We find that the Paragraph therein which makes a Pro-
vision for Widows Excludes all Relations after Brors and

U H.J.

Sisters Children from Inheriting any Part of the Intestates
Estate which we think unreasonable & Contrary To the Act
of Assembly Provided for the Better Admrcon of Justice in
Testamentary Affairs. It is therefore thought necessary that
that Paragraph in this Act should be made agreeable to that
Act which is Agreeable to the Laws of England with which
Amendments it will Pass
