to be Dispensed with & therefore Cannot agree to the Pro-
posall

On a hearing Between John Clements on behalf of an Act
passed the Lower House in his favour & Capt. John Rider &
Maj^r Roger Woolford on behalf of themselves & the Rest of
the Inhabitants of Dorchester County.
It is the Opinion of this House that M^r Clements has not
made Appear that he has a Right to the Lott of Land in Dis-
pute But the said Clements alledging his Evidences are Sick
that Can prove his Right Particularly Jn^o M^oKirk it is thought
Convenient by this House that the Consideration thereof be
referred till next Session
And the Bill so Endorsed & sent to the Lower House p M^r
Lowe who Returns & says he Delivered it
