Honour's Concurrence and that you will be pleased to join
with us in an Address to his Excy desiring his favourable Ac-
ceptance thereof as a token of our Gratitude.

They return and say They delivered it.
Collo Young and two others from the upper house deliver
Mr Speaker the following Message viz:

By the upper house of Assembly May 9th 1718.
Gent.
In Answer to your Message by Colo John Mackall and five
others We cannot but Comend you in the just regard you have
to the Expence his Excy has been at in defending our Con-
stitucon and most readily and heartily join with you therein.

The House adjourns till to Morrow morning Eight of the
Clock.

The House meets according to Adjournment
Yesterdays Proceedings are read.

Collo Tilghman from the upper house delivers Mr Speaker
the following Message viz:

By the upper house of Assembly May the 10th 1718.
Gentlemen
The Conclusion of this Sessions, wch hath been carryed on
so unanimously for the Protestant Intrest being near at hand
calls upon us to put you in Mind once more of our Message
concerning the Eight p Cent. We Cannot but be pressing on
this Affaire thinking it most reasonable to comply with his
Lpps Demands at this Time in hopes that the good Dispositions
he shall see the houses in to Oblige him, in that particular may
engage his Lpp to give a favourable Construction of all the
Proceedings of this Assembly.
