And Sent to the upper House by Colo Hynson Mr Whitting-
ton Mr Baker Mr Waughop Capt Dent Colo Maxwell Capt
Dollahide and Mr Taylor.
They return & say they delivered it.
CoP Addison from the upper house delivers Mr Speaker the
following Message viz:

By the upper house of Assembly May the 9th 1718.

Gent. In answer to your Message by Colo Mackall and
three others His Excy Acquaints this House that he has
Instruccons from the Crown which he is Comanded by his Lpp
to obey wherein he is instructed not to erect any new Court of
Judicature But forasmuch as he thinks what your House pro-
poses to be highly reasonable he will recomend it to their Lpps
to pass that act which he is willing to do Provided it be not in
force till twelve months or till his Lpps pleasure shall be further
known.
And We think it necessary tht the same be represented to

their Lpps from both Houses which may be proper to be done
in the remonstrance to their Lpps

Colo Holland from the upper house delivers Mr Speaker the
following Message viz:

By the uppr house of Assembly May the 9th 1718.

Gent.
We Recomend to you that an Order be entred on your
Journall that the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to
Colo Wm Holland Attorney of Colo Nathaniel Blakiston One
hundred pounds Sterling as Agent for this province when the
year is expired.

Bill for Limiting of Accons was read with the Amendments
& past for engrosing and Sent to the Come of Laws to be
engrost.
Esqr Lowe from the upper house delivers Mr Speaker the
proposalls of Mr Evan Jones for the printing the Laws of
this Province thus Endorst viz.

By the lower House of Assembly May the 9th 1718.
The within proposall is recomended to the lower House of
Assembly as reasonable in the Charge and usefull in the Work
