We desire your Concurrence with the adding a Clause to tht
Bill whereby an Appeal may be granted from the Chancery
Court to the Governour and Councill

and Sent to the upper House by Colo Mackall Major Emerson
Colo Herrman and Mr Young.
They return and say they delivered it.
An Engrost Bill for the relief of the City of Annapolis was
read and ordered to be thus endorst viz.

May the 8th 1718.

Read and Assented to by the lower House of Assembly and
Signed p Order M: Jenifer Cl: lo: Ho.

And Sent to the upper house by Capt Mariarte and Mr
Beale. They return and say they delivered it.

The House adjourns till to morrow Morning Eight of the
Clock.
Friday May 9th 1718

The house meet According to Adjournment
Yesterdays Proceedings are read.
Maj Harris has the leave of this house to go home for that
he is so lame he Cannot attend the Publick Business.
The house proceeds to tax the fees on the following Bills

Admrn of Justice within this province and for the disabling
Thomas Macnemara Esqr to practice therein which was read
and thus Endorst viz:

By the Lower House of Assembly May the 8th 1718.

Read the first & Second times by especiall Order and will
pass. Sign'd p Order
