An Engrost Bill for relief of Sundry poor Prisoners therein
menconed was read and thus Endorst viz:

May the 8th 1718.
Read & Assented to by the Lower House of Assembly and
Sign'd p Order
Mic: Jenifer Cl. Lo. Ho.

& Sent to the upper House by Colo Maxwell and Colo Ward.
They return and say they delivered it

The following Message being Prepared viz.

By the Lower House of Assembly May 8th 1718.

May it please your Honours.
In answer to your Message of this day relating to the
Allowance to his Excy for the Bodies of Laws for the Coun-
ties and Provinciall Court We agree that 600l Tob be allow'd
him for each body.

Signed p Order M. Jenifer Cl: lo. ho.

And sent to the upper House by Colo Mackall Majr Emerson
Colo Herrman & Mr Younge.
They return and Say they delivered it.
Ordered that Samuell Young Esqr Publick Treasurer of
the Western Shore pay unto Mr George Valentine for his
own use (without any respect to the Sherr's fees) for finding
Severall persons in the Goal of Annapolis relieved this Ses-
sions with Victualls During their Imprisonment the Sume of
ten Pounds Currant Money out of the publick Stock in his
hands.
The following Message being Prepared viz:

By the lower House of Assembly May the 8th 1718.

May it please Your Honours
We perceive by your Message of Yesterday & Colo Young
that his Excy not having his Lpps Particular Instruccons can-
not Consent to the adding a Clause to the Act to Limit the
Continuance of Accons &ca Whereby the Councell may be
joined with the Keeper of the great Scale for the Time being
to Sit as a Court of Judicature on rehearings and Reviews on

the Decrees of the Chancery Court but for that tis thought to
be an Aggrievance that the Same Person who before past the
Decree in the Chancery Court Should again Sit as Judge alone
upon the rehearings and Reviews,
