it that if that House thinks fit to bring in a Bill hereon the

following Message Viz:

By the Upper House of Assembly May 7^th 1718.
Gent.
On reading Your Yesterday's Message by Col^o Maxwell
and two Others His Excy observes to this House he has no
Direccons from their L^pps about the Councills being joyned to
the Keeper of the great Scale for the time being, to Sit as a
Court of Judicature and have a Voice in passing Decrees or
other Sentences on rehearings or reviews And that without
their L^pps particular Instruccons therein he Cannot consent
to it, and on the Question whether that Message shall be reced
or not, this House Concurrs with limiting Accons in The
Provinciall Court and high Court of Appeals to Nineteen
Months but Cannot agree to adding the Clause therein Pro-
posed Concerning the Chancery.
