ford and Baltemore inclosed by their Lpps to his Excy, and
being asked by his Excy whether he had anything to Offerr
him by the Comand of their Lpps, Sayd he had not but that their
Lpps lett him know that his Excy was to make proposalls to
him, And being further asked whether he had made Applica-
con to his Excy Since he reced that Letter sayd he had not and
further whether he had any to make then answered he had

not, which his Excy takes to be a further Confirmation of his

Obstinacy and Contumaciousness he then making no Offers
of his Submission on the Order of his Suspension in the
Chancery Court notwithstanding their Lpps have approved
that Suspension by their Letter to him. On Reflection where-
of this House take into Consideracon Mr Macnemara's Be-

haviour to his Excy in Particular not Only by Affronting him
as Governour and Chancellor which may Appear by Two In-
dictments found agt him in the Provinciall Court of this prov-
ince but in endeavouring to get him removed from his Govern-
ment which he had the Confidence to own to his Face in the
Court of Chancery he had done to the utmost of his Power, but
Also to the Governour and Councill comparing them and there
proceedings to the Spanish Inquisicon and the Contempt and
indignity he had frequently offer'd to the Provinciall and
Other Courts of this Province in the Speciall Court of Oyer &
Terminer for the Tryall of those persons apprehended for
firing the great Guns on the Birthnight of the Pretender
he sayed, let me see who Dare try them by this Comission,
or Words to that purpose, having offered a Certiorari tc
remove it to the Provinciall Court for Allowance which was
denyed this House think themselves obliged in Justice to his
Excys Character and for Encouragement and Support of the
Magistrates in the Distribucon of Justice to declare the said
Macnemara a Contemner of Authority and a Disturber of the
peace and Tranquillity of the good People of this Province
And therefore earnestly recomend it to you to Consider
whether it may not be Advisable to disable the said Macne-
mara from Practising the Law by bringing in a Bill or other-
wise as in Your Discrecon Shall seem Proper for preventing
him in the Comission of the like Enormities.
We send you herewth Severall Papers relating to this Affair
which We hope will give you full Satisfaction therein.
