In Answer to which the following Message viz.

By the lower House of Assembly May the 6th 1718.
May it please your Honours
His Excy having represented to this house by his Account
that there Still remaines due to him the Sum of £103..8..9
Sterling part of the 550l Sterling ordered to be expended in
building a Magazine desires that the Treasurer may be or-
dered to pay him that Sume but for that the Said Ballance is
to be paid out of the three pence p hhd wch by Direction of the
Act of Assembly is to be disposed of as his Excy & your
Honours shall direct We therefore humbly Desire that your
Honours will be pleased to order the paymt of the Ballance afd
to his Excy in such manner as you shall think fit.

And Sent to the Upper house by Mr James Lloyd and Mr
Waughop.
They return and say they delivered it.
Esqr Lowe from the upper House Delivers Mr Speaker the
following Message viz:

By the Upper House of Assembly

Gent.
On reading your Message by Mr Robt Tyler and Mr John
Ward We perceive that you have made a Computacon of the
Value of the workmanship Of the Magazine built by Thomas
Cooke And that you have resolved shal1 he shall have One
hundred Pounds Sterling more for finishing the Same. This
house desires you to Acquaint them whether he made any
Proposicons to vou of what Work vet remains unfinisht tht
