They return and say they delivered it.
Mr Carroll according to the Order of this House appears
and being demanded by Mr Speaker whether he knows any-
thing relating to the Acceptance of the I2d p hhd by the Lord
Benedict's Exrs Gives this House an Accot thereof but being
desired to reduce the same into writing Promised to do it to
Morrow and withdrew.
Colo Young from the upper house delivers Mr Speaker the
following Message viz.
To the Lower House of Assembly
Gentlemen: On my undertaking the building of the Maga-
zine for Arms the Country allow'd me 500l Sterling and in the
next Assembly following fifty pounds more of which I have
made out an Account at the Bottom of this But as I find there
is only an Ordinance of Assembly and no Direction to any
particular persons to pay the 550l Sterl. above menconed,
Collo Young who is your Treasurer did not think it advisable
to pay me the Ballance you will find due to me.
I therefore desire you will please to direct the Treasurer to
pay me that Ballance or by the hands of any other person as
you shall direct
