The same Day it is Offered to this Comittee as an Aggriev-
ance that the Practice of feigned Recoveries of Lands intailed

p. 73

at Comon Law has been already practised in this province and
found Pernicious to the Inhabitants thereof.
It being Thought an Aggrievance by this Comittee it is
Therefore left to the House for their Consideracon.

Which being read the Consideration of the first Part there-
of is referred till the Afternoon.

As to the other part thereof relating to the Cutting of
Entailes The Question was put whether the Same is an Ag-
grievance or not.
Resolved the Same be an Aggrievance, The Consideracon
thereof is referred till next Sessions of Assembly

The House adjourns till one of the Clock in the Afternoon

An engrost Bill for removing Prince George's County
Court House was read and Ordered to be thus endorst viz:

An engrost Bill for Supplying Defects in a Conveyance
from Gary Burridge and Cole to Browne was read and
ordered to be thus endorst viz.

Read and Assented to by the Lower House of Assembly and
Signed p Order M: Jenifer Cl: Lo. Ho:

& Sent to the Upper House by Capt Pollard Mr Baker & Mr
Taylor.
They return & say they delivered them.
The Report of the Comittee of Aggrievances relating to
Thomas Cooke was read & Resolved the Sume of One hundred
pounds Sterling more then already [raised be] paid to the Said
