Aprill the 20th 1718

May it please your Excy & Honors
Tis found by experience and Sundry Peticons offered to
this Assembly that Some Amendments are necessary to be
made in the act for Ascertaining the bounds of Lands &c.
which ought to be done either by a Supplementary Bill to that
Act or by reenacting it wch being a matter of great Concern
to the Province in Generall We desire your Honours will be
Pleased to appoint Some of the Members of your House to
join with some of the Members of our House in a Conference
to consider of that act and propose what Amendments may
be thought necessary.

Which was Sent to the upper House by Mr Lloyd Capt
Dollahide & Mr Emerson. They return and say they delivered
their Message.
Colo Holland with three others delivers Mr Speaker a Lre
from the Lords Baltemr and Guilford to the Presidt and
Councill of this Province with the Transcript of a Record
from Philadelphia certifying the suspension of Thomas Mac-
nemara Esqr for his Misdemeanour wth the following Message
viz

By the upper house of Assembly Aprill the 29* 1718

Gent.
Believing it may be great Satisfaction to your House We
have now comunicated a Letter We have had the Honour to.
receive from the right honble the Lords Guilford and Balte-
more by which you will observe how ready their Lpps are to
support their Authority and strengthen the hands of those
Commissioned for the Distribution of Justice against the bold
and insolent Attempts of Mr Macnemara not only in the Chan-
cery but to some of our Knowledge in the Provinciall Court
So reasonable a Piece of Justice in their Lpp's We hope may
have an Influence on those (had this gone with Impunity)
who might have followed his evil Example of flying in the
Face of the Government which he has been too apt to do not
only in this Province but our neighbouring Government of
Pensilvania as you'll percieve, by the Transcript herewith
sent you
