Sent to the Lower House by Esqr Hall, who returns & Says
he Dd them

His Excellency lays before this House the Lord Bishop of
London's Comission to the Revrnd Mr Christopher Wilkinson,
and his Letter to him.

Whereon the foll0 message is Prepared viz.

By the Upr Ho of Assembly
May the 2d 1718
Gent. We now send you a Representation as It is layd
before us from the Revnd Clergy together with Copys of
several papers relating to the Clergy viz. A Copy of the
Lord Bishop of London's Comission to the Revnd Mr Wilkin-

son to be Comissary of the Eastern Shoar And the said Bish-
op's Letter to him and a Copy of Instructions to his Excellency
from her late Majesty Queen Ann, Whereon we Desire that
some of the Members of your house may Joyn with some of
this house in a Conference to Consult in Relation thereto
where the Revnd Clergy may be heard on the sd Representation
if found Requisite.

Young who Return & say they Dd it.
Read at this Board the Complaint of Capt David Pulsifer
Against Thomas Macnemara Naval Officer of Petuxent for
Exacting & takeing more Fees on his Clearance than he Ought
with a Copy of the Account. Which is Referred to the Con-
sidern of the Lo: House & Accordingly so Endorsed, And Sent
down by Esqr Hall who Returns & Says He Dd it.

On the Petition of Capt. John Rider for a Rehearing on
the Petition of John Brannock relateing to a forceable Entry
made by John Long on the Lands of Rebeccah Brannock
The Question is put whether this Cause is Cognizable
before the Justices of the Provinciall Court or not. Resolved
in the Affirmative and that the sd Brannock be left to his
Remedy at comon Law, And Ordered that his Peto be Re-
jected.
