The Petition of Capt Hardy Read in this House, and Re-
ferred to the Consideration of the Lower House, And so
Endorsed.

And both sent down by Esqr Hall who Returns & Says he
Delivered it.
Mr Thomas Robins and two others with a Bill Confirming
the last Will & Testament of Elizabeth Devegh &c. Endorsed
as foll
By the Lo Ho of Assembly May Ist 1718

p. 71

On Reading the within Bill motion is made that a Clause be
Inserted Saving to the Lawfull heirs their Right in Case they
make good their Claim in seven years.
Whereupon this Bill is amended accordingly and will Pass
with the Amendmt Proposed, with which we desire your Honrs
Concurrence.
Signed p order Mic. Jenifer Cl Lo Ho.

Which being Read & Considered this house Concurrs there-
with, and the bill is so Endorsed and Sent down by Colo Tilgh-
man who Returns & Says he Dd it.
Capt Danl Mariartee and Tobias Pollard from the Lower
House with a Bill Engrosed Repealing the Act to Prevent the
Growth of Popery.
Assented to by that House, and being Read is Assented to
by this, and Col Addison Sent to Acquaint the Lower House
thereof
The Petition of Mr Thomas Cook Relating to the new
building And his Account therewith being Read at this Board
is Referred to the Consideration of the Lower House. And
so Endorsed and Sent to the Lower House

The House adjourns till To morrow Morning
