Sr Inclosed is a bill of loading and Invoyce of the goods
shipt you on board the Annapolis Mercht Stephen Yoakly
master which hope will Come safe to your hands.

Philemon Lloyd Esqr Came & was added to this house.
According to the message by Col. Addison Appeared from
the lower house Mr Samuel Hopkins Mr Wm Whittington and
Mr John Purnell And Informs this board that the delays
Complained of was Occasioned by the Attornys and the death
of many of the Comissioners. The Gent, are desired to put
into writeing the reason of the delays.
His Excy Acquaints this house that being Informed upon
Oath of a Ships being taken by the Pyrates he published by
Letters to the severall Naval Officers to give notice to the
several Masters of Ships then in the Country that upon giving
bills on their Owners they might have what Amunition they
thought necessary out of the Country Stock; The Exigency
of that affair requiring dispatch His Excellency thought fitt
to do it of his own Authority without Calling a Councill.
Which is by this house Very well approved of.

The House meet according to Adjournment

Present as in the morning with the Addition of Col Ennalls
Colo John Mackall and nine other members from the Lower
House with an Answer to his Excys Speech as follows.

To his Excellency the Governor

We the Delegates now met to represent the People of this
Province this Present Generall Assembly under the Govern-
ment of our Lord Propry beg leave on this occasion to declare
to your Excellency the great Satisfaction we have received
by the answer of the right honourable Francis Lord Guilford
to our late Addresse And by the speech of the Right honble
the Lords Propry & Guilford delivered us by your Excy att
the Opening this Session and do with all Dutiful gratitude
acknowledge their Lordships Goodness & shall make our

humble Application to their Lordships by way of Addresse in
relation to the Subject matter of both.
And now Proceed to Assure your Excellency that our En-
deavours shall not be wanting to make known to those we
