Whereupon Resolved that the following Message be sent
to the Lower house.

By the Uper house of Assembly
May the 31^st 1717
Gent. Complaint being made to this board of a great delay
of Justice in Somersett County Court desire leave may be given
the Gentlemen of your house for that County to appear at this
board to give this board a true State of the Case.

sent into this Province by Col Blakiston amounting to the

sume of £257.10^s..4^d Out of the sume lodged in his hands
to buy Armes being five hundred pounds Sterling. Col
Blakiston Acquainted his Excellency the Reason why the
whole was not laid out was, being in the time of the late Re-
bellion in Great Brittain Armes were very dear but having
bought these before, sent them, takeing it to be an Improper
