His Excellency Observes to this house he has the Honour
of a Letter from their Lordships in Answer to his, Relating
to his Suspending Mr Macnemara from his Practice in the
Chancery Court, which Letter he now lays before this House,
being an Instance of their Lordships Justice for that Tender
Consideration they have for the Opinion of the Councill,
which he lays before this house as follows.
Sr London Feb. 4. 1717
Having received yours of Octo: 22d we shall here confine
ourselves to answer that Part of it only which Relates to your
Suspending Mr Macnemara from his Practice in the Chancery
Court.
We have taken into our Consideration your order of Sus-
pension and likewise Mr Macnemara's Petition and your An-
swer to it we have also Considered the Journalls of our Coun-
cill in this affair, together with their Letter to us, And upon
the whole we Entirely Agree with the Opinion of our Councill
that you had good reasons to suspend him as you Did till he
had made his due Submission. And we have Determined
that the said suspension ought not to be taken of untill such
Time as he has made a due Submission to you in such Terms
and manner as you by the Advice of our Councill shall think
Proper for him to do.
The Inclosed directed to our Councill is An Answer to theirs
on this Subject & that to Mr Macnemara is an Answer to his
Both which you will deliver in such a manner as you think
most Proper
We shall enlarge no further on this Occasion but to Express
