His' Excellency Delivers to this house a Letter Directed to
the Councill from their Lordships, which foll in these words,
viz.

Gent London Feb. 4. 1717
The Journalls of your Proceedings relateing to M^r Macne-
mara's Suspension from his Practice in the Chancery Court,
And your Letter to us thereon, has been duly Considered ; and
you will find, by the Resolution we have taken not to restore
him to his Practice till he has made his due Submission, how
much Weight your Opinion & Advice has with
Gent yo^r Assured Friends
& humble Serv^ts
To the President & Councill Guilford
of our Province of Maryland! Baltimore

Resolved & ordered that a Letter of Thanks be wrote to
their Lordships for their Great Justice both to the Governour,
And to this Board now convened in Assembly.
Col. W^m Holland Appearing is added to this House
Ordered that the Letter mentioned by their Lordships to
his Excellency, for M^r Macnemara be Delivered to him by the
Clerk of this House.
