His' Excellency Delivers to this house a Letter Directed to
the Councill from their Lordships, which foll in these words,
viz.
Gent London Feb. 4. 1717
The Journalls of your Proceedings relateing to Mr Macne-
mara's Suspension from his Practice in the Chancery Court,
And your Letter to us thereon, has been duly Considered ; and
you will find, by the Resolution we have taken not to restore
him to his Practice till he has made his due Submission, how
much Weight your Opinion & Advice has with
Gent yor Assured Friends
& humble Servts
To the President & Councill Guilford
of our Province of Maryland! Baltimore
Resolved & ordered that a Letter of Thanks be wrote to
their Lordships for their Great Justice both to the Governour,
And to this Board now convened in Assembly.
Col. Wm Holland Appearing is added to this House
Ordered that the Letter mentioned by their Lordships to
his Excellency, for Mr Macnemara be Delivered to him by the
Clerk of this House.
