Entries on the Chancery Records Relating to the said Macne-
mara with this Message.

By his Excellency the Governour
Aprill the 25th 1718
Gent. I herewith Send you Copys of Severall Passages
that happened in the Chancery Court Relating to Mr Macne-
mara with Copys of three Indictments found agt the said
Macnemara which I promised to lay before you for your
Consideration.

Att a Chancery Court held at the City of Annapolis the
Tenth day of October 1717.

Present
His Excellency John Hart Esqr Governour

His Excellency tells Mr Macnemara that he affirmed this
day in his face His Excellency Called him a Rogue & a Rascall
in this Court, which his Excellency affirms he did not neverthe-
less the said Mr Macnemara now alledges the same, with this
alteration only, that to the best of his remembrance his Excy
did Call him Rogue and a Rascal which being taken in Con-
tempt and to the lessening his Ldships Authority and the
Grandeur of this Court by Taxing the Governour with a
Falsity
His Excellency Orders the Attorney Generall to psecute
the said Macnemara for the same, And that a minute hereof
be made on this days Proceedings.
Mr Macnemara one of the Practitioners of this Court hav-
ing frequently behaved himself in this Court with threatning
words and an Indecent and Irreverent Behaviour of which he
was Several times Admonished by his Excellency, And still
