Distribution of them of no Service, being among few & given
to such as have no share in the Govermt I therefore have
postpon'd shewing him the List until I have reduced the
Currency of the List into Sterling, by wh he will judge best
as to Quantum of Proffit each Place produces, Mr Bladen I
am inform'd has Magnified all greatly, except when it is
to Serve his Alliance. I think you wod do well to fill the
Council Board with chosen Persons of your own, not of
Recomendations from those of the worn out Interest, who
for many years have been enrich'd. Lloyd, Plater & Golds-
borough, Interest must be with you sure. Mr Hanbury who
is always desirous of Serving his friends such as are Cores-
pondts he gains by, But often opponents to My Lord's
affairs. Mr Thomas of the Council he is very solicitous for,
indeed I observe him on the List with Provision, he
Character a Man of Abilities, But he has Adversaries here.
Mr Hanbury says the Affair he was charged with in the late
Lord's time he honourably acquitted himself of, he writes
for preferment, My Lord says he knows no reason why it
shoud be deny'd him. Mr Hanbury desiers favour for Mr
Wostenholme, if you will be so kind as to serve him he
desiers no great matter for him, but as he is chief manager
of all his transactions in the Province your distinguish Mark
of favour to his Agent will greatly Gratifye him.

Commission for that purpose to you to deliver the same to
him I beg leave on my part to say in relation thereto to you.
