over that the better part of that year for which We claim the
40 p poll was expired before the Death of the sd Mr Lilling-
ton that is if the 40 p poll becomes due from the taking the
Taxables (which your Petitioner believes it does) then the decd
served ten, if only from Novemr Court then six months all
which your Petitioner humbly leaves to your discretional
Judgemt and Determination hoping that your Honours will
be pleased to order your Petitioner the full paymt of the 40 p
poll for the year 1709 as afd as being Execr as afd
And your Petitioner as in Duty
bound shall ever pray &c

Upon reading the Petition of Mr Joseph Lambert on behalf
of Mr Lillingston's Children This House are of opinion the
whole 40 pds of tobo p poll ought to be payd to Mr Lilling-
ston's Children for that year in which their Father dyed and
on their behalf pray the honble Presidt & Council to order the
Sheriff to pay the same to them
