By the late order of Council & return from Lt Col Gale &
Capt Ballard thereof you will find the Nanticoke Indians are
much dissatisfyed they may not be permitted to continue at
Broad Creek where they are Sat down. We cannot think it
prudent to have any difference with them especially at this
Time when our Fellow Subjects in North Carolina are at open
Rupture with the Tuskarores and therefore recommend it to
your Consideration how to procure their Satisfaction either by
purchasing the three thousd Acres they are now seated on or
such other means as you may judge effectual thereto

Advised and resolved that it be recommended to the House
of Delegates that small tight twelve foot Houses be built in
each County as Magazines for the Arms & Ammunition to be
lodged in at or near the County Court Houses at the Charge
of the respective Countys by which means the sd Arms &c
may be lyable to be visitted oftner & kept in better repair and
thereupon the following Message was sent to the House by
Col Addison & Capt Dorsey
