Excellency may be informed whither It may be necessary to
continue the said prohibition

issue his Proclamation to that purpose

Mr Amos Garrett & Major Roger Woolford came & Saw
Mr Rousby Sworn to his Naval Officers Acct

Mr Stoddert & Mr Fendall brought up the following message

By the House of Delegates
October the 8th 1714

Little Tobo being made this year & that the several Gentle-
men that Serve the Country may be allowed some part of
their Claims in mony rating tobo at a penny p pound, in order
to bear part of their Expences & to ease the People of this
Province we propose allowing every person attending the
publick Service out of the publick Stock and desire to know

whither your Honours will have such allowance made the
several members of your Board

Which being read And It being considered that very small
Crops of Tobo are made this year this Board agree thereto,
And the following message sent to the House by Mr Hall

By the Council in Assembly
October the 8th 1714

On Consideration of your Message by Mr Stoddert and Mr
Fendal This Board believing It will very much ease the Inhabi-
tants are willing to take their Allowance as proposed by you

The Petition of Several Gentlemen of the Clergy who have
officiated in the absence of Mr Gabriel D'Emiliane late Rector
of Christ's Church parish in Calvert County

And the Petition of Ann D'Emiliane his Widow being read
setting forth that whereas her late Husband had the leave of
this Board & also of the Church Wardens and Vestry of his
Parish to go for England on promise of some other Clergy-
man to officiate in his Absence Which has been complyed
with. And It now being supposed that he is shipwrecked
