It being considered that the Honble Col Nathaniel Blakiston
has served this province to his utmost as their Agent, Resolved
a Message be sent the House of Delegates to put them in

mind of ordering his Sallary therefore
And the following Message was Sent to the Delegates

By the Governour & Council in Assembly
October the 8th 1714

We think fitt to remind you that whereas your have ap-
pointed the Honble Col Nathaniel Blakiston for your Agent
at the Sallary of one hundred & twenty pounds p annum, He
out of a generous Sense of the good Affection this province
bears him has accepted It at the Rate of one hundred pounds
p annum and done his very utmost for your Service. We
therefore desire you will not fail to take Care and give Direc-
tions for the payment of his Sallary to his Attornys in this
Province, so Soon as the same becomes due

Major Hawkins & Capt Tripp brought from the Delegates
the following message

By the House of Delegates
October the 8th 1714

We have before receipt of your Message by Philemon Lloyd
Esqr given orders for adjusting the publick Claims with all
convenient Speed & when that is done a Bill shall be prepared
for impowering some of your Honble Board & some members
of this House to apportion it which we hope may be done by
the Time mentioned in your Message

Mr James Lloyd and Mr Lockerman brought up the fol-
lowing Message

October the 8th 1714

Your message about the prohibiting the Exportation of
Indian Corn this present year being considered, this House
acknowledges the same to be of great Importance and tending
in all likelyhood to the welfare of this province of which your
Excellency & Honours always shew your tender regard
We humbly offer the prohibiting the exportation from the
tenth day of November till the tenth day of March next, and
