His Excellency is pleased to say the Receivers have given
in to him their Accompts of 3d p hhd for Arms, which He
shall take Care will be layd before the House of Delegates

p. 955

And as to the Fines & Forfeitures Ordered that her
Majesty's Receivers lay before this Board their Accompts of
the Fines & Forfeitures by them received, And Ordered the
following Message be sent to the Delegates

By his Excellency the Governeur & Council in Assembly
October the 7th 1714

In answer to your Message by Mr James Macall and five
others His Excell is pleased to say that her Majesty's Re-
ceivers have given in to him their Accompts of the Duty of
3d p Hhd for purchasing Arms which are herewith sent you
And as to the Fines & Forfeitures the said Receivers are
ordered to lay before this Board the Accompts of all Fines
and Forfeitures by them received of which you shall have the
Perusal

The Board Adjourned till ten of the Clock to morrow
morning

Friday October the 8th 1714

The Honourable Council Sate Present as yesterday with
the Addition of Philemon Lloyd Esqr
Lt Col Tilghman Ward and five more brought from their
House the following Message Viz.

By the House of Delegates
October the 8th 1714

May It please your Honours.
Your Message by the Honble Col Saml Young and Col
Thos Addison of the 6th Instt with a Copy of the 22d Article
of her Majesty's Instructions to his Excellency being read
This House in complyance therewith is resolved to View &
inspect into the Laws of this Province and to Reenact &

amend such as shall upon Consideration be found to require
Retrenchment or Supplement. And for the more speedy
Effecting the same We pray your Excellency & Hon" will
appoint some members of your Honble Board to confer with
some of this House to concert the Manner & Method for
accomplishing the same
