ject matter proposed by your House and when you let us
know what Members of your House you appoint on that
Conference and the Time and Place when and where to meet
we shall direct some of our Members to join with your Con-
ferees.

Whereupon Mr Tyler, Colo Hoskins, Capt. Mariarte, Capt
Greenfield, Major Woolford and Capt. Colegate are appointed
Conferees to join the Honble Council about the said Clause
and are ready to meet immediately at the House of John
Dodd. And the same Members have a Message to signify
the said Appointmt to the Honble Council.
They return and say they delivered the said Message.
Colo Holland and Philemon Lloyd Esqr enter the House
and deliver Mr Speaker the ingrossed Bill for laying an Impo-
sition of 3d p Hhd. for defraying the Charge of the Province
with the following Indorsement Viz.

July 2d 1714
Read and assented to by her Majesty's Honble Council and
Signed p Order W Bladen Cl. Conl.

And then acquainted Mr Speaker that his Excellency de-
sired them to take along with them to his Excy as having
passed the previous Requisites of the House of Delegates
and Council Board the ingrossed Bill for reviving and con-
tinuing the Act of Assembly of this Province for ordering and
regulating the Militia of this Province for the better Security
and Defence thereof and for supplying some Defects therein
which was delivered them accordingly.
Colo William Holland, Colo Samuel Young and Colo Richard
Tilghman enter the House and acquaint Mr Speaker that they
are appointed to join Mr Tyler and the five other Members of
this House in the Conference and are ready to meet at Mr
Dodd's, and delivered Mr Speaker the Bill reviving the Act
for Limitation of Officers Fees and for supplying some Defects
therein &c. also reviving another Act of Assembly of this
Province Entituled an Act explaining some doubtful Expres-
sions in the Act for Limitation of Officers Fees which was thus
indorsed Viz.

July 3d 1714
Read and will pass with the Amendments
