Colo Edward Lloyd, Colo Wm Holland, and Col- Thomas
Addison from the Honble Council delivered Mr Speaker the
Bill for settling a Revenue on her Majty's present Governor
thus endorsed

June 28th 1714.
Read and assented to by her Majesty's Honble Council and
Signed p Order W Bladen Cl. Con.

Ordered, That the following be returned as an Answer to
the Message of the 28th Instant about the Statutes of England
Viz.

To his Excy the Govr and to her Mtys Honble Council in
Assembly

We are of Opinion your Message of the 28th Instant by the
Honble Colo William Holland and Colo Samuel Young to be
a Thing worthy of our Consideration but as we are desirous
to put an End to this present Sessions the Time of year being
very inconvenient for revising our Laws and that we believe
the examining the Statutes of England will require more
Time than our urgent Occasions will at present admit us to
bestow upon it have referred the same to the Consideration
of next Sessions of Assembly to which we pray your Excys
and Honours Concurrence

Sent up to the Honble Council by Mr Tyler, Capt. Mariarte,
Capt. Colegate and Mr Charles Wright.

They return and say they delivered their Message.

On a Motion made for Leave to bring in a Bill for the more
easy ascertaining and settlemt of Bounds of Land and to pre-
vent unnecessary and vexatious Actions, It is Resolved and
accordingly Ordered Nemine contradicente That Leave be
given for bringing in such a Bill this Sessions and that the
Committee of Laws prepare the same to which said Commit-
tee Mr James Stoddart is added.

Then the House adjourned till One O'Clock in the After-
noon.

And then met. Present as in the morning.

Colo Lloyd, Colo Coursey and Colo Young from the Council
deliver Mr Speaker the following Message.
