Ordered That Mr Tyler, Colo Mackall, Mr Stoddart, Mr
Docwra, Capt Mariarte, Major Thomas Sprigg, Colo Ham-
mond, Mr James Lloyd, Major Woolford, Mr Loockerman,
Mr John Whittington, Capt. Scott, Mr Robins and Capt. Henry
Trippe carry the said Bill to his Excy in Council with the
following Message Viz.

By the House of Delegates
June 25th 1714.

Having considered the Instructions your Excy sent to this
House yesterday and finding her Royal Majesty our Queen
has been graciously pleased to admit us to make a Present to
your Excy of 3d p Hhd on all Tobo exported out of this Prov-
ince during your Admn here with all Alacrity and Affection
we lay hold of this Opportunity of making you that Present,
not questioning but your Excys Admn amongst us will be easy
just and answerable to the gracious Design of her Majesty
the true Patron of Piety Justice and Mercy and conformable
to the Laws of the Land. We shall take that Part of the In-
structions relating to a House or Rent into our further Con-
sideration.

They return and say they delivered the same.
The Petition of William Dorrington and others of Dor-
chester County praying Leave to bring in a Bill for vesting
several Seats of Land in the said County containing about
one thousand Acres which were by the last Will of William
Dorrington deceased devised in Tail in the Tenants in Tail in
fee and cutting off the Entail afd being read, it was ordered
that the Petitioners be heard by their Council this Day at the
Bar of this House on said Petition. The said Petition being
read and the House having heard Council for the Petitioners
and fully considered the same it was rejected Nemine con-
tradicente.
The House adjourns to One O'Clock in the Afternoon

Then the House met again according to Adjournment.
Present as in the Morning.
Upon reading this Day in this House a Message from the
Honble the President and Council of this Province of the 6th
of Nov. 1714 a Deposition of John Courts and a Representa-
tion of the Militia Officers of Charles County together with
some Receipts relating to the County Arms and Ammunition
and referr'd to be considered of to this Sessions, It is Ordered
