The honble Col Lloyd Col Holland Lt Col Addison Mr
Philemon Lloyd and Capt John Dorsey are appointed to carry
to the Delegates his Excells Reply to the Address to himself
from their House

The Board Adjourned till Eleven of the Clock to morrow
morning

Thursday June the 24th 1714
The Council in Assembly Sate
Present

His Excellency the Governour &c
Col Lloyd Mr Philemon Lloyd
Col Holland Capt John Dorsey
Col Coursey and
Lt Col Young Lt Col Tilghman

The Board being informed that the House of Delegates
were risen Ordered the following Message to be sent to that
House by Lt Col Addison

By the Council in Assembly
June the 24th 1714
Gentlemen,
Finding your House rose pretty early this morning We
desire you to lett us know at what Time you intend to sitt &
rise during this Session (unless on extraordinary Affairs hap-
pening) that we may the more readily conform Ourselves for
the speedier Dispatch of publick Business
Signed p order W Bladen Cl Coun.

The Board adjourned till three of the Clock post Meridiem
The Council Sate Present as in the morning except Col
Tilghman who had leave to be absent on his particular Affairs

Mr James Stoddert & Capt Henry Trippe brought from the
House of Delegates Viz.

By the House of Delegates
Thursday 24th June 1714.

Finding the Hour we rose at yesterday to be inconvenient
for the better expediting the Countrys Business We resolved
to sitt during this Session at eight in the forenoon and con-
tinue sitting till Eleven and from one in the Afternoon till
six to which We pray your Honour's Concurrence
