Whereupon the Conferrees withdrew,

The House adjourned for an Hour
The House met according to Adjournment.
The Report from the Conferrence this Day held at Mt
Dodd's Viz. brought into the House & is a follows

At a Conferrence held at the House of Mr John Dodds
Novr 13th 1713 in Relation to the passing a Law for regulating
Ordinarys and appropriating the ffines thereof to her Majesty's
Secretary for the Time being, Present of the Honble Council
Colo William Holland, Samuel Young, Esq Philemon Lloyd,
Esq, Colo Thomas Addison Colo Richard Tilghman. Of the
House of Delegates Colo John Mackall, Mr Robert Tyler, Mr
Daniel Mariartee, Colo Philip Hoskins, Major Roger Wool-
ford, Mr Edward Scott, Mr Solomon Wright, Mr Saml Wor-
thington, Mr Richd Colegate and Mr St Ledger Codd.

Who make Choice of Colo William Holland Chairman and
John Beale their Clerk and her Majesty's Order in Council in
Relation to passing the Law aforesaid being first read the
Honble Council appointed upon the Conferrence propose to
the Conferrees of the Honble House of Delegates that there
be a Law made for regulating Ordinaries and appropriating
the ffines thereof to her Majesty's Secretary of the Province
of Maryland for the Time being pursuant to her said Majesty's
Order in Council aforesaid and offered their Reasons therefor
which being fully debated the said Conferrees of the House
of Delegates could not agree thereto believing that the Secre-
tary has no Right to the same Thereupon the said Confer-
rence being ended they withdrew to their several Places

Saturday 9br 14th 1713

The House according to Adjournment met and being called
over were present as yesterday.
Read what was done Yesterday
Ordered That Richard Young Gate keeper of the City of
Annapolis buy one thousand Clapboards and one thousand
Eight Penny Nails one thousand of iod Nails to repair the
Gate House of the said City and that he be allowed for the
same next Session of Assembly.
Ordered the following Message be sent to the Council Viz.
