have appointed Colo Ward, Mr Worthington, Mr Tyler, Capt.
Jones, Colo Mackall and Colo Hoskins Members of this House
to join in Conferrence with the Members of her Majesty's
Honble Council on that Subject this Day at Mr Dodd's if your
Honours think fit

in the above Message with the two Bills one for Naturalization
of several Persons and the other for Relief of John Cole of
Charles County.

Therefore Leave given to bring in a Bill as prayed
Colo Whittington from the Council brings Petition of Strot-
ten Burton praying Allowance for his Service as a Look out
in Somerset County Ordered it be referred till the Journal
of the last Committee of Accounts be inspected
Supplementary Act to the Act for Probat of Wills &ca Read
the first Time and Ordered a second Reading to Morrow
Morning
Bill permitting Inhabitants of this Province to sue out
Writs and confess Judgment in their own Name referred from
last Session Read the first Time and Ordered a second Read-
ing to Morrow Morning

The Message on Reference about Magazine Houses Read
and debated Resolved the Arms and Ammunition continue
in the Officers Hands as formerly and that the House will not
further proceed therein

Ordered Mr Watts, & Mr Chesseldyne attend Mr Phelps to
the Council to see him prove his Naval Officers Accounts.
They return & say they saw him sworn thereto
Ordered Richard Dallam be allowed a 1000 lb Tobo for
recording each Journal to be paid him in Calvert County
Sheriff of Baltimore returns Indentures for Mr Colegate,
Mr Stevenson Mr Talbot and Mr Hammond four Members to
serve in this Assembly for that County who appeared in the
House and Ordered Mr Mariartee and Majr Hammond attend
them to the Council to see them sworn.
They return and say they saw them sworn and the said
Gentlemen took their Places in the House
Ordered the Committee of Election and Privileges go out
and enquire into the Indentures and report the same to the
House with all Expedition
