According to Adjournment the House met and present as
Yesterday.
Read what was done Yesterday
Petition of Charles Pasteur Read and granted upon his taking
the Oaths &ta and Ordered he be put into the Bill with others

Bill for Naturalization of Stephen Rich and others Read
the Second Time & will pass

Roger Boyce's Petition Read. Mr Thomas Bordley appeared
and by Consent of both Parties Resolved it be continued till
next Session That an Order issue to the Clerk of Calvert

County Court to bring up before this House at their next
Meeting the Record Book and that each of the Parties may
summon Evidences then to appear before this House
Bill for restraining the ill Practice of Sheriffs in executing
Writs of fieri facias &ca referred from last Session Read the
first Time and Ordered a second Reading to Morrow Morning
Colo Addison and Colo Tilghman from the Hofible Council
enter the House and deliver Mr Speaker the following Mes-
sage Viz.
By the Council in Assembly
29th October 1713.

On Consideration of your Message by Colo Tilghman Ward
and others of your House we shall readily concur with you in
appointing an Agent in Great Britain to transact the Affairs
of this Province on all Occasions; and when you shall notify
what Members of your House you appoint upon that Confer-
rence we shall give Directions to some of our Board to join
them on the Subject Matter of appointing such Agent being
truly sensible it will redound to the great Benefit of the Country
