In our Message by Colo Hoskins and others we did not tax
your Honours with any Disregard had by you of any of our
Addresses but complain of some Hardships we lye under for
Want of having that Address presented and very readily
acquainted your Honours with our Resolve of addressing her
Majesty relating to Sr Thos Lawrence and upon reading your
Message referred from last Session relating to an Agent Re-
solved upon the employing one on all Occasions; and tho"
your Honours do not think fit to join with us in the Address
yet we hope you will concur with us in the appointing an
Agent and agree to the Cenferrence desired for that Purpose
and doubt not but we shall give your Honours such Demon-
strations of our Duty and Obedience to her Majesty's Com-
mands as will be to your Satisfaction

They return and say they delivered their Message
The Honble Samuel Young Esq. from the Council enters
the House and delivers Mr Speaker the following Message.

Resolved That the Honble Samuel Young Esqr and Lt Colo
Charles Greenberry join with the Members of the House of
Delegates to enquire into the State of the Land and other
Records and give them notice that they will attend that Ser-
vice to Morrow Morning

Upon reading thereof Ordered the Members of this House
appointed for that [service] attend their Honours accordingly
His Honour Mr Young also delivered Mr Speaker the Peti-
tion of Robert Scott & Charles Neale of Saint Mary's County
praying a Bill to supply some Defect in the Will of Raphael
Heywood late of Saint Mary's County recommended from the
Council
