Conferrees appointed Colo Ward, Mr Worthington, Mr
Tyler, Capt. Jones, Colo John Mackall, and Colo Hoskins.
Sent to the Honble Council by Colo Hoskins, Major Ham-
mond, Mr James Mackall, Mr James ffrisby, Mr Charles
Wright, and Mr John Purnell.
They return and say they delivered their Message
Colo Ennalls from the Council enters the House & delivers
Mr Speaker the following Message Viz.

By the President and Council in Assembly
29th 8bo 1713

We approve of your Proposal for appointing some of the
Members of your House together with some of this Board to
enquire into the State of the Land & other Records and when
you let us know what Members of your House are appointed
for that Service and the Time when, we shall take Care to
join some of our Board with them

By the House of Delegates
29th October 1713

In Reply to your Message this Day by Colo Ennalls we
have appointed Colo Philip Hoskins, Mr James Mackall, Mr
James ftrisby, and Capt. Jones Members of this House to join
with the Members of her Majesty's Honble Council to enquire
into the State of the Land and other Records this Afternoon
or when your Honours think fit

Committee of Laws report what Laws expire Viz.

An Act for the more speedy conveying of publick Letters
and Packets of this Province and defraying the Charge thereof
Resolved the same be revised and made perpetual with
Addition of Letters from the Speaker and Clerk of the House
of Delegates to be publick Letters within that Act
An Act for Relief of Debtors and ascertaining the Manner
of Tenders in Tobacco
Resolved it be revised & made perpetual the two Persons
that view the Tobacco to be Freeholders
