Gentl. In Answer to your Message by Mr Tyler and Mr
Ennalls, we can assure you that the Address you say you made
her Majesty in the Year 1 709 in full Answer to Sr Thomas
Lawrence's Complaint if ever committed to our Care was
transmitted to the Lords Commrs of Trade and Plantations
but whether the then Assembly recommended it to our Care
or not or that it ever was presented to her Majesty seeing we
have no Agent in Great Britain to transact Affairs on Behalf
of the Province we cannot say

Read, debated and Resolved her Majesty be addressed in
Relation to Sir Thomas Lawrence an Agent employed and
the following Message be sent to the Council Viz.

29th 8ber 1713.
We have considered your Message by Colo Addison and
are sorry to find so little Regard had to the Addresses of this
House to her Majesty we have resolved to address her
Majesty now in Relation to Sir Thomas Lawrence and for
the better security of having such Address presented have
Resolved on the employing an Agent and desire your Honours
will not only join with us in that Address but recommend to
us some Person you think capable of serving the Country
therein and to that End pray a Conferrence thereon with our
Members undernoted at such Time and Place as your Honours
shall appoint
