Objections being heard thereto It appearing Mr Bennett is a
Valuable Purchaser under & according to the Law of this
Province & at the Time of the mortgage could not have any
due Knowledge of the said Lease to Mason It not being
Enrolled This Bill is thought unreasonable And that the said
Mason ought to seek his Remedy from the Heirs of Robert
Smith Esqr wherefore the said Bill was rejected and the Re-
solve of this Board sent to the Delegates by Col Addison
Mr Mariartee & Mr James Macall brought up the Engrossed
Bill for reviving the Act against the Importation of Bread
Beer Flower &c from Pensilvania Assented to by the House
of Delegates Which being read at the Board was assented to
by the Honble her Majesty's Council And again Sent by Col
Tilghman to the Delegates
The said Gentlemen also brought up the Report of the
Committee for inspecting the Records with the following
message Viz.

November the 12th 1713
We herewith send your Honours the Report of the Com-
mittee appointed to inspect into the Records we are willing
that the Consideration thereof be referred till next Session of
Assembly & desire your Honours Concurrence thereto.
