and Council professing their Friendship & desiring to be so
accounted of

The Honble President taking notice that he has several
times issued Directions to have the Exact Return of Births
and Burials from the several parishes in this Province but to
no Effect

Ordered that the Clerk of this Board write to the several
Clerks of the Vestrys ordering them on pain of being sent
for before this Board to return punctual Accounts thereof at
least for two years last past to him by the next Provincial
Court and that the Letters to the said Clerks be inclosed in
Letters to the several Ministers and Vestrys Who are to be
desired to Enforce the said orders and procure Complyance
therewith
Lt Col Mackall and five more brought up the Engrossed
Bill for regulating Writts of Error and granting Appeals from
& to the Courts of Common Law within this province. As-
sented to by the House of Delegates
Which being read at this Board was assented to by her
Majesty's honble Council and sent to the House by Col
Addison

U. H. J.

The said Col Mackall & the other five members brought
the following Message Viz.

By the House of Delegates
November the 12th 1713

In answer to your Message by Col Holland and four more
of your Honble Board We once more debated and put it to
the Vote of this House whither they would Consent to the
Conference demanded by your Honours & carryed in the
negative
We are sorry your Honours should insist thus long on this
Subject at a Time especially when so many members of this
House are gone home sick
We never had any Intentions to diminish the Honour and
Reputation of your Board and cannot now recede from the
Resolution of Addressing her Majesty
Signed p order Evan Jones Dep Cl Ho Del.

In reply whereto the following Message was Sent Viz.
