lating Writts of Error granting Appeals from and to the com-
mon Courts of Law within this province
Read the second time in their House & Endorsed will pass
Which being read the first time at this Board was Endorsed
& will pass Sent to the House by Col Tilghman
Mr Woolford & Mr Brooke brought up a Bill reviving an

Act of Assembly of this Province Entituled an Act prohibit-
ing the Importation of Bread Beer &c from Pensilvania.
Which was read & Endorsed will pass with the Amendments
proposed And sent to the House by Col Tilghman
The Petition of Robert Dutton and others living at the
Head of the Bay praying Liberty to sell Bread and Flower
within the Province being read, & It not appearing they have
paid any Levys in this province the Petition is rejected.

M" Solomon & Charles Wright brought up a Bill confirm-
ing and making good & Valid in Law a certain Lease or Deed

of Demise made between Robert Smith late of Talbott
County Esqr decd & Matthew Mason of the same County
Planter, referred this last Session of Assembly to this present
Session & Endorsed as follows

By the Delegates
November the 11 th 1713

Upon hearing the objections offered by Richd Bennett Esqr
(herewith sent) against passing this Bill Resolved Nemine
Contradicente this Bill do pass

The Consideration of the afd Bill & objections was referred
till to morrow morning

And the Board adjourned until eight of the Clock to
morrow morning

Thursday November the 12th 1713
The Council Sate Present as yesterday except Col Ennalls.
Col Hoskins & three more brought up the following mes-
sage Viz.
By the House of Delegates
November the 12th 1713

We are truly Sensible of the great Regard your Honrs have
for the Reputation of this House which we daily with the
Utmost precaution Endeavour to preserve from any just
Reflections and we hope the worst of our Enemys cannot
justly charge us with any neglect of that nature The Law
