Board And assure your Honours we never had the least
Thoughts of reflecting on your Honble Board neither have
We reason to doubt of the due regard you have for the In-
terest of this Province. This House have with great Care &
diligence Searched all the Records in the Secretarys Office or
other Offices here they could find And unconscious of any
Untruths we have Averred in the Address sent to your Honours
for perusal, therefore desire you will not any more press us
on this Subject
Signed p order Evan Jones Cl Dep ho Del.
Which being Read & Considered Resolved the following
Message be sent to the Delegates Viz.
By the honble President & Council
November the 11th 1713
We have received your Message by Major Sprigg and five
others And tho we cannot but think it very Strange you
should refuse the Conference desired by this Board for want
whereof We find you persist in the mistake Asserted in your
Address to her Majesty relating to the fines on Ordinary
Licences yet we cannot believe We ought notwithstanding
