this Province all Persons abstaining from bodily Labour and
the several Incumbents to preach and perform divine Service
on that Day To which End Ordered that Proclamations issue
Accordingly
The Petition of John Limpkin Edwd Roberts John Cole
John Jones and Pierce Walsh Inhabitants of Baltimore County
Praying That whereas They were summoned to attend that
County Court in June 1712 and were prevented by unavoidable
Accidents so that they were then fined each five hundred
pounds of Tobacco unless they shewed cause to the next
County Court to discharge them therefrom they went to the
next County Court but by an Order of Council the same was
adjourned from Joppa to the old Court House so that they
could not offer their Reasons Viz. their Indisposition of Health
and the Circumstances of this petition being affirmed by Mr
Wm Talbot one of the Justices of that County Court and one
of the Delegates in this Assembly for that County; ordered
the several Petitioners Fines for not attending as Jurymen as
afd be remitted & not levyed
The Case of Wm Bladen & Chars Carrol with the Houses
Endorsmt thereon as followeth. Viz.

The following message was sent to the House Viz.

By the President and Council in Assembly
November the 10th 1713

This Board do agree that the said Arms &c be forthwith
removed & lodged in the Stadt House in such Rooms as the
House of Delegates shall advise and Considering how much
the publick Arms are abused in the Several Countys & the
Powder wasted and destroyed We desire the House of Dele-
gates once more to consider of the Recommendation made
from this Board the last Sessions to have small Arm Houses
built near the several County Courts for their better security
& that they may be the easier & oftener inspected

The Petition of the Inhabitants of Christ Church Parish in
Kent Island Read praying that two hundred & fifty Taxables
may be taken out of St Pauls Parish in Queen Ann's County
& United to their Parish for the better Encouragemt to reside
amongst them being read was thought reasonable & recom-
mended that a Small Bill pass this Session to add to Christ
Church parish on Kent Island part of Se Pauls Parish in Queen
Ann's County to begin in Coursey's Creek at the place where
the high Street formerly laid out for Queen Anns town falls
