The Board observing that the Act prohibiting the Importa-
tion of Bread Beer Flower Malt Wheat or other English or
Indian Grain & Meale Horses Mares Colts & Filleys from
Pensilvania will expire at the End of this Session, do recom-
mend to the Delegates that the sd Law be revived having
been experienced to be a good and beneficial one and may

is beginning to flourish by Sundry Vessels built in the Country
capable of Exporting great Quantities as well as divers Ves-
sels on purchase from the Northern Plantations, and that it
may be of Prejudice here for the Farmers to have the
Pensilvanians import their Grain & pick up the ready mony
& Bills of Exchange by which & other like Practices they
have heretofore sucked the very marrow of the Province.
We think it however necessary to insert a Clause in the
Reviving Bill to give Liberty to any the Commanders of her
Majesty's Ships of War in this Province to purchase Bread
Flower or other Provisions for the Use of their Ships only
& import or cause it to be imported from Pensilvania or
