exponas being again urged by the Delegates to pass this
Session It was debated & resolved that if upon a fieri facias
issued the Defendant will upon Oath shew all his Estate so
that the Sheriff may levy what part thereof the Creditor or
his Attorney may think fitt to direct the Creditor having
Liberty to name two appraisers and the Debtor two more
upon their Oaths to be administred by the Sherriff to appraise
the same The Creditor shall be obliged for want of Buyers to
take the Goods at their Appraismt
This Law shall not be deemed to Extend to negros &c
reserved in favour of orphans by Virtue of the Act for better
Administration of Justice in probat of Wills
The Bill being so Endorsed was sent to the House by Col
Greenberry Mr Hall and Col Tilghman
The Bill for relief of John Smith of Cecil County And The
Bill for Supplying the Defect in Jeremiah Sullivan's Will
being Read were Endorsed Will pass & sent to the House
by Mr Hall
The Board Adjourned untill eight of the Clock on Saturday
morning

Saturday November the 7th 1713.
The Council Sate Present as yesterday
The Bill for restraining the ill practices of Sheriffs upon
fieri facias agreed to by the Board & sent to the House by
Mr Hall & Col Addison
The Bill for ascertaining what shall be allowed to grand and
petit Jurors being read the first & second times was Endorsed
passed & sent to the house by Mr Lloyd.

Col Ward and three more brought up a Bill against false
packing of Tobo
And a Bill for the relief of Anthony Joye
Came three Nanticoke Indians Viz Tom Coursey Pantikas
and Rassekettham and acquainted the President & Council
that their Emperour Atquash had left his Indians, That as
they had made him Emperour if he had stayed he might have
remained so but as he was gone away He should never be
their Emperour any more, They would have nothing to say to
him
That they had heard a Story the Emperour had applyed to
the President to take off Panquash and Rasseketthams Heads
and had offered him Skins & came to enquire the Truth
thereof
