last Assembly laid before this House the Agreemt made with
him by the Justices for building that Court House at Joppa.
We have heard debated & Considered the same and find no
material objections thereto only It is said the House is not
quite finished. Therefore Resolved that the Justices of that
County may proceed therein according to their Discretions
notwithstanding the afd Ordinance to which We desire your
Honour's Concurrence

Mr Talbott & three other Members brought up A Bill for
the relief of Debtors & ascertaining the Tenders in Tobo
which being read at the Board It was recommended to the
House to add a Clause to punish such as false pack Tobo

A Bill for killing Wolves Crows & Squirrels read and
recommended that for the more effectual destroying of Wolves
the same Encouragement be allowed the Indians as the
English

And a Bill for relief of Josiah Crouch of Kent County in
confirming a certain Sale of Lands from Wm Crouch to him
and his Heirs which was read and Endorsed will pass

The afd Bills & John Smiths Petition Sent to the House by
Samuel Young Esqr

Mr James Lloyd and three more brought up the petition of
Major John Rousby Naval Officer of Patuxent praying the
Treasurer of the Western Shoar may be obliged to take of
him what Gold he has received for publick Dues this year

Also offering for two p Cent more than the Sallary now
allowed him to bring the mony up to Annapolis and pay it to
such person as he shall be directed by the Committee for
appointing the publick Levy
