The honble Saml Young Esqr & Col Charles Greenberry
appointed to join with some of the Members of the House as
a Committee for apportioning the publick Levy and the afd
Gent, sent to acquaint the House thereof

Mr James Bowles & three other Delegates bring up the
following engrossed Bills viz.

A Bill appointing how long Suspected Runaways shall lie
in prison.

A Bill for reviving & Continuing an Act of Assembly of
this Province Entituled an Act for the ordering & regulating
the militia of this Province for the better defence & Security
thereof & for supplying some Defects therein

A Bill for Settling and Vesting an Estate of Inheritance in
fee simple of & In one hundd & fifty Acres of Land lying in
Calvert County on Wm Hickman of Calvert County Carpen-
ter Son & Heir of Wm Hickman decd And by the sd Hickman
the Father purchased of & from a certain Thos Hinton.

A Bill for the naturalization of Peter Saunders of Talbot
County Planter & his Children, Stephen Rashoon of the same
County Planter & his Children, & William Cody of Charles
County Taylor & his Children

A Bill confirming the Title of Land therein mentioned unto
Col William Holland Richd Harrison and Saml Chew

A Bill reviving an Act for Limitation of officers' Fees

A Bill to reform the ill practices of Sheriffs within this
Province

A Bill for the relief of Tobias Pollard and John Pollard of
Dorchester County Gentl.

A Bill impowering Robert Roberts of Queen Ann's County
to Sell part of a Tract of Land lying in Cecil County called
New Munster late the Land of John Toas for the uses therein
mentioned and to make good & Valid such Sale and —

A Bill to make good & Valid in Law all Process & Pro-
ceedings of St Mary's County Court from the 8th day of June
this present year to the first Tuesday of Novemr next Ensuing

All which Bills were Endorsed November the Ist 1711

Read & assented to by the House of Delegates and they
being likewise read & assented to by this Board were returned
to the House of Delegates by Col Ennalls & Col Tilghman

Lt Col Gale and three other members of the House brought
up a Bill to Vest two Tracts of Land in Richd Bennett Esqr
late the Land of Jno Howell Endorsed — read again in the
House of Delegates & will pass as amended.
