Supplementary Bill to the Act for Stay of Executions Read
the first and second Times by Special Order and will pass
Bill prohibiting the Exportation of Hydes & Old Iron,
Amended, Read & Indorsed will pass
Bill settling Baltimore County Court at the Town of Joppa
Read the first and second Times by special Order and will
pass.

Bill relieving the Inhabitants of this Province from some
Aggrievances they lye under in Prosecution of Suits in Law
by special Order Read the first & second Times & will pass

Bill restraining the ill Practice of Sheriffs in executing Writs
of Fieri facias &ta

Read the first and second Times by Special Order and will
pass.

These six Bills sent up to the Council by Mr Garrett, Mr
Tyler, Mr John Mackall, Mr Hoskins, Mr Sprigg, Mr Lloyd,
Mr Ennalls, Mr Woolford, Mr Frisby and Mr Scott

They return and say they delivered the Bills.
Ordered Mr Garrett and Mr Docwra agree with a Workman
to amend and clean the Glass Windows of the Stadt House
& take Care to have it well done by the first Day of April next.

The Honble Colo Whittington, Colo Greenberry, and John
Dorsey Esq. enter the House and deliver Mr Speaker the Bill
relating to the Indians and the following Message.

By the Council in Assembly
Nov. 11th 1712.

On Consideration of your Message this Day by Mr James
Lloyd and five others relating to the Bill by us proposed for
restraining the Inhabitants of this Province from selling any
Quantity of Strong Liquors to the Indians and to prevent
false Rumours inciting Differences between them and her
Majesty's Subjects of this Province we concur with your House
and have agreed to the Amendments of the first Part thereof.
And as to the second Part of the said Bill we had Reason to
believe the Gentl. Members of your House representing Dorr
and Somerset Counties had not been wanting to inform you
what had lately happened in their Counties relating to the
Nanticoke Indians and what wicked and pernicious, tho'
groundless Stories were raised on that Occasion by ill design-
ing Persons to create a Misunderstanding between us and
the Indians wherefore seeing the false Rumours and Reports
designed to be punished are solely circumscribed to those tend-
ing to create Differences between them and us we cannot
