The Bill confirming Lands to Col Holland & Richard Har-
rison & Saml Chew
The Bill impowering Thos Edmonson to sell Lands for
paymt of John Edmonson's debts — And the Bill for Relief of
John Stoakes's son were read at the Board the first & second
Times
As also the Bill for Relief of Robert Roberts of Queen
Anns County and with the several Endorsemts thereon sent to
the House of Delegates by Col Ennalls & Col Tilghman
The Petition of Richard & Alexander Wharfield Exrs of
John Howard of Ann Arundel County Gent read & rejected
The Bill to confirm a Deed of Release from Susannah
Tracy to James Heath — And

The Bill to confirm Lands to Major John Hawkins & Henry

Wright were read at the Board the first & second Times
It being represented by the honble Capt Dorsey that there
is an absolute necessity for the Ease of the Inhabitants at Elk
Ridge & on the South Side of Patapsco River in Baltimore
County that two more Justices of the peace &c should be

added to the present Commission
Resolved and ordered that Mr Joshua Dorsey & Mr John
Hammond be added thereto
The Petition of William Holmes and his Wife read and
referred to the Justices of Prince George's County Court to
proceed thereon according to Act of Assembly in ascertaining
how long and to whom the Petitioners shall serve in Satisfac-
tion to their fees
The Board adjourned until eight of the Clock to Morrow
Morning

Wednesday October the 31st 1711

The Council Sate Present as yesterday
Col Low and seven other members bring up a Bill reviving
an Act for Limitation of officers fees Read in the House of
Delegates the first & second Times by Special Order
Which was twice read at this Board and Endorsed will pass
The sd Col Lowe and the afd seven Members brought up
the following address Viz.

To the Honble Edwd Lloyd Esqr Presidt & the rest of the
Members of her Majesty's honble Council of Maryland

The humble Address of the Deputys & Delegates of the
sd Province now in Assembly convened.

May it please your Honours
It is with the greatest Grief & Regrett too we are obliged
now to address your Honours to redress an Aggrievance
