Resolved a Message be sent to the Council concerning the
Assembly Office &ta Viz.

By the House of Delegates
6th Nov. 1712

This House having taken Care to fit up several offices in
the Stadt House and upon viewing the same find the Room
allotted for the Assembly Office to be ill convenient and con-
sidering the Largeness of the Room allotted for the Council
Office presume it may be sufficient also for the Naval Office
therefore are of Opinion the Room formerly allotted for the
Naval Office be now appointed for the Assembly Office and
the Pidgeon Holes Desks &ta put in the Assembly Office may
be removed into the Chancery Office which is yet unfurnished
and the Door of the Assembly Office be quite taken away
which will give more Light into the Passage to all the upper
Rooms in the Stadt House and desire the Honble President
and Council will concur with them in ordaining the same.

Mr Speaker the Message sent from this House relating to

Delegates.

Ordered Mr James Lloyd and Mr Sprigg attend the Honble
Council to see Samuel Young Esqr prove his Treasurers Ac-
counts.
They return and say they saw him sworn thereto
Henry Acton's Petition read praying Leave to bring in a Bill
to help the neglect of the Clerk of Charles County not record-
ing a Deed from Gilbert Clarke deceased to Walter Beane
deced and referred to the Committee of Laws to examine the
Pretensions and report their Opinion therein to the House.
Petition against Ordinary Keepers entertaining Sailors In-
dorsed
