say they know of no Reflections or want of Judgment in their
Message and cannot recede from their opinion but that this
Bill is of absolute Necessity; and to cultivate the good Opinion
you desire between your Board and this House request the
Conferrence you are willing to agree to and have appointed
the several Members that went on the last Conferrence to
confer with the Members of your Board to Morrow Morning
at Eleven O'Clock at Mr Dodd's if your Honours think fit

Upon the Report of Mr Tyler from the Committee of Aggriev-
ances Resolved That a Bill be brought in to impower the
Sheriffs upon Receipt of any Writs of Fieri facias or Attach-
ment to swear two indifferent Persons who are neither of Kin
to the Pltff or Defdt. to appraise the Goods seized and if no
Buyers offer in a little Time to deliver them at such Apprais-
ment to the Creditors in Satisfaction of the Debt and to oblige
the Creditors to accept the same which will prevent the Ruin
of many Men's Estates especially such as are in the Hands of
Executors or Administrators
Also Resolved upon the Report from the said Committee

That a Bill be brought in to prevent the dilatory Proceedings

as well in the Provincial as in the County Courts by obliging
the Practitioners and others to be ready for Tryal and to allow
any Person that will to take out Writs in their own Names and
to confess Judgments in their own proper Persons and that no
Attorney demand or receive his ffee before the final End of
the Cause he is retained in.

Mr Tyler also reports from the said Committee an Aggriev-
ance relating to the Gauge of Tobacco Hhds Read and
Resolved it be considered of to Morrow Morning in a full
House

The Papers brought into the House relating to Baltimore
County Court House. Read and debated. Mr Richard Cole-
gate and Mr William Talbot and several Gentlemen of that
County having Leave appeared in the House and were heard
therein and being withdrawn the House Nemine contradicente
Resolved That a Bill be brought in to settle the Court of that
County at the Town of Joppa in the new Court House there
built and for settling that Court House on the County and to
continue all Process & Proceedings of that Court Resolved
